We study books, poems, stories, plays, and other forms of literature that explore different culture's perspectives, ideals, beliefs, and history.  

We have read the following so far:

How I Became a Ghost (Native American)

Not Your Perfect  Mexican Daughter (Mexican American)

MilkWeed (Holocaust)

We explore America's literature from the very early days of the settlers to modern times. 

We are currently finishing up the 1800's. Our next reading is The Open Boat.

In this class we explore many favorites such as a few of Shakespeare's plays, Moby Dick, The Man in the Iron Mask, and many others.

We are currently reading Shakespeare's Two Gentlemen of Verona.
